Most Early Leprosy were from Omalur Taluk
Citie's and Town's were; Salem, Rasipuram, Erode & Omalur.
All Leprosy and Tuberculosis patient's who were under treatment were given food and travel allowance.
31 Leprosy Patient's are under treatment and;
10 Tuberculosis patient's are under treatment.
Percentage of treatment attendance:
Leprosy:61.5%
Tuberculosis:30%
(Patient's who are defaulters are approached by word of mouth through other patient's, letter and failing which they are visited by our Health Supervisor in their homes. They are motivated to attend review clinics regularly after handing a month of medicines with proper advice of medication. Tuberculosis patient's after 4 months tend to default as their condition markedly improves with treatment.)
